The following is the recommended system configuration:
1. A personal Computer running Microsoft Windows XP or higher, with 512MB RAM and 40GB HDD.
2. A printer capable of printing onto A4 paper.
3. CDROM Drive or USB Port to facilitate installations.
4. Where (3) above is not available, a reliable internet connection to download the software from WAEC EXAMINER CASS link/website is a good alternative

a. Foxit Phantom PDF Reader (any pdf reader can replace this)
bi. Microsoft. Net Framework 4.5.2 or bii. Microsoft Dot Net Framework 4.0 (Offline Installer)
c. Microsoft SQL Server [select your operating system window bit]
di. SAP Crystal Report runtime Engine for Net Framework [select your operating system window bit] or dii. CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_20 (32-bit).msi;

WAEC CASS Setup Prerequisites for SS1
Download and install the following application software mentioned in WAEC CASS Link
The first software to install is bi or bii [dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64]
The Second software to install is SQLEXPR_ENU (Microsoft SQL Server)
The Third software to install is di or dii [CRRuntime (SAP Crystal Report),]
The Fourth Software to Install is PDF Viewer, I personally make use of Foxit Phantom PDF Reader
Optional- If available installed the followed – Microsoft Reportviewer, Microsoft Visual Basic PowerPacks and Finally Windows Installer.
Lastly install the WAEC CASS Offline software

a. Close any applications that you may be running
b. Navigate to the folder where the WAECCASS_Setup Application software is saved after you the download, and click on it.
c. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete installation.
