Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) is established by LFN CAP C19 of 2004 to regulate the training and practice of Community Health in Nigeria.
A Community Health Practitioner is a specially trained Professional who provides promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health activities and services to the people where they live and work. In carrying out these tasks, there are a set of codes of professional conducts, ethics and etiquette that they are mandatory to follow.

JCHEW Entry Qualification
Three (3) credits and two (2) passes at O’level WASSC or NECO in not more than two sittings to include
English Language,
Mathematics,
Biology/Health Science and
any other two subjects.
Community Health Extension Worker CHEW Past Questions
Course Duration: Two (3) YEARS
CHEW Entry Qualification
Five (5) Credit level passes at WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO O’level
These must include:
English Language,
Mathematics,
Physics,
Chemistry and
Biology/Health Science.
not more than two (2) sittings.
Also, candidates with JCHEW certificates have an added advantage.
JCHEW/CHEW Pre-National Examination
1.The community Health practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) has slated 22-26th August 2019 for National Qualifying Exams for the final year students
2. Consequently, the Schedule of the Mock/Pre-national Examination is 22-26th July accordingly.
