What is Abbyy FineReader
ABBYY FineReader is an application that make of optical character recognition (OCR), to convert scan document into editable texts, retain the formate of the original document in a high percentage. the company that developed it is based in Russian by the name ABBY.
This program will help you to convert image document into editable electronice format after it has recognized the texts into Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Rich Text Format, HTML, PDF/A, searchable PDF, CSV and txt (plain text) files
Version 11, allows files to be converted into djvu format.
version 14, has a built in spell check, and support 192 languages
version 12, has received excellent rating by PC Magazine
