suitably qualified candidates for Admission into B.Ed, B.A. Ed and B.Sc Ed programmers
by Distance Learning System (DSL) 2015/2016 Session

NTI Admission or Entry Requirements

Candidates who possess any of the under listed qualification are
eligible for admission:

1.
Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with
merit pass or (C) grade in addition to the minimum
UTME requirements Candidates in this group will spend a minimum of 3 years if
admitted.

2.
Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with pass
grade lower than (C) grade and with a minimum
Of 5 years teaching experience in addition to the minimum UTME requirements.
Candidates in this group will spend a minimum of 4 years if admitted,

3. National
Diploma (ND) at upper credit from a recognized Institution and in relevant
areas. Candidates in this group will spend a minimum of 3 years if admitted.

NTI Additional Entry
Requirements

A.
Candidates offering B.Sc Ed must in addition to
English and Mathematics possess at least a credit in Physics, Chemistry or
Biology.

B.
Candidates offering English as a main teaching
subject must possess a credit in English Language or Literature in English or
credit in English Language in the Teacher Grade ii Certificate (T CII) or a
pass in English Language and a credit in Literature in English

C.
All candidates must satisfy the minimum UTME requirements
for programmers they intend to offer.

1. B.Ed. (Primary Education Studies)

2. B.A.Ed. (Social Studies)

3. B.Sc. Ed. (English)

4. B.Sc. Ed (Mathematics)

5. B.Sc. Ed. (Integrated science)

6. B.Sc. Ed. (Physical & Health Education)

NTI Course Duration

Each Course is organized into two semesters per year for a minimum of
three/four years and maximum
of six eight Calendar years depending on the entry qualifications of the
candidates.

NTI Method of application

I.
Prospective candidates should visit any branch
of Zenith Bank or Keystone Bank and obtain
Admission pin number for a non refundable fee of N 10,000.00 only.

II.
After obtaining the pin number, candidates
should them log on to www.Ntionline. Net and fill the form online.
