Posted by The Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, hereby invites interested Candidates whose UTME score is 180 and above to apply for admission into the following programmes offered at the Polytechnic for the 2016/2017 Academic session.
Available programmes are National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND)
in the Colleges of Agricultural Technology, Business Management
Technology, Applied Science Technology and Engineering Technology. The programmes are available in fulltime and part-time basis.
Other entry requirements into the programmes of the above named Colleges are:
COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY
1. HND Programme in Agricultural Extension & Management:
Requirements:
i. OND in Agricultural Technology or other related disciplines with a minimum of Lower Credit Pass.
ii. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit passes English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Biology or Agricultural Science and any one of the following: Geography,
Physics, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Statistics
or any Nigerian Language at not more than two sittings.
iii. Evidence of one year post National Diploma cognate Work Experience.
2. ND in Agricultural Technology:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit passes English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Biology or Agricultural Science and any one of the following: Geography,
Physics, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Statistics
or any Nigerian Language at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and any other Science subject.
3. ND in Animal Health & Production Technology:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit passes English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Biology or Agricultural Science and any one of the following: Geography,
Physics, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Statistics
or any Nigerian Language at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and any other Science subject.
4. ND in Horticultural Technology
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics and
Physics and any one subject from: Biology or Agricultural Science,
Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics,
Metal Work, Wood Work, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics or
Commerce at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Chemistry, Physics or Technical Drawing.
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
1. ND in Accountancy:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics and any
three subjects from the following: Economics or Commerce, Business
Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography,
Office Practice, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry,
Physics, History or Government, Typewriting or Shorthand at not more
than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects
required are: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Geography,
Commerce, Government, Principles of Account or Economics.
2. ND in Banking and Finance:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics and any
three subjects from the following: Economics or Commerce, Business
Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography,
Office Practice, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry,
Physics, History or Government, Typewriting or Shorthand at not more
than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects
required are: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Geography,
Commerce, Government, Principles of Account, History or Economics.
COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY
1. ND in Computer Science:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and
any two subjects from the following: Economics, Government or History,
Geography, Further Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science,
Chemistry and Typewriting at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Geography, Physics, Chemistry or Economics.
2. ND in Statistics:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and
any two subjects from the following: Economics, Government/History,
Geography, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry
and Typewriting at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Economics/Commerce, History/Government or CRK/IRK.
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
1. ND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and
Chemistry and any subject from the following: Economics/Commerce,
Geography, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical
Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal
Work, Wood Work at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Technical Drawing.
2. ND in Computer Engineering:
Requirements:
i. Five SSCE/NECO/GCE
O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and
Chemistry and any subject from the following: Economics/Commerce,
Geography, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical
Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work
or Wood Work at not more than two sittings.
ii. UTME Subjects required are: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Technical Drawing.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms are obtainable on the payment of N2, 000. 00 (two thousand naira only), payable at any branch of First Bank PLC into the Account Number: 2013732730, Account Name: Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo. Original copy of the payment teller should be submitted to the Admission Officer for the collection of application forms.
