Admission into Diploma and Advance Diploma Programmes (2015/2016)
Pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Novena University and Nigeria Police Force, the following Diploma and Advanced Diploma programmes are now offered at the Police Colleges Ikeja, Kaduna, Minna, Port-Harcourt, Enugu and the University Campus:
1. CYBER CRIME AND INFORMATION SECURITY
2. CRIMINOLOGY AND SECURITY STUDIES
3. CRIMINAL INTELLIGENCE AND POLICING
4. TERRORISM, SECURITY AND POLICING
5. FORENSICS AND INVESTIGATION
6. LAW AND SECURITY
7. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
ELIGIBILITY
The programme is designed for the following categories of self-sponsored candidates:
* Officers and Men of the Police Force
* Military and Paramilitary Personnel
* Personnel & Operatives in Civil Organisations and Firms
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
A. DIPLOMA:-
Candidates should possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes including English Language and other relevant subjects in WAEC, NECO, SSCE, GCE 0/level, NABTEB or their equivalents. Retired/serving security officers from the Military, Police, SSS, NDLEA, NSCDC, NPS, as well as personnel and operatives in the Private and Public sectors with relevant experience but possessing lower qualifications may be considered.
B. ADVANCED DIPLOMA:-
Holders of University Degree, HND, OND, HSC, Advanced level GCE or any other relevant qualification can apply.
Military, Police and Paramilitary Personnel/Security Officers from the rank of W/0 11, Inspectors or the equivalents with lower qualifications but possessing evidence of professional training in security operations may be considered.

Forms are obtainable upon the payment of N6,000 at the following Outlets/Lecture Centres.
I. Registrar’s Office, Novena University Campus, Delta State.
II. Commandant’s Office, Police Colleges at Ikeja, Kaduna, Enugu, Minna & Port Harcourt
DURATION OF PROGRAMMES:
One (1) Academic Session
Completed Application Forms should be returned in person to Outlets/Lecture Centres of Purchase not later than April 15, 2016.
