(a) DUTIES
The
Director of Audit is the Head of the Internal Audit Unit of the University and
shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration
of the Internal Audit Unit of the University.

(b) QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST
The
Director of Audi who is the Head of the Internal Audit Unit of the University,
must be a chartered accountant (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) with a B.Sc degree or its
equivalent plus 22 years post qualification experience of which, 10 years must
be within a University system. Membership of other relevant professional
accounting/auditing bodies will be an added advantage. Applicant MUST be
computer literate and have a working knowledge of good accounting/auditing
packages. The candidate must also possess a record of good health. Candidates
below the rank of Deputy Director of Audit need not apply.
