REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME [ADEVERT AS AT 2010]

I. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The University runs the Pre-Degree Programme as an intensive one year programme with the fundamental objective of encouraging our young men and women who due to one reason or the other could not gain admission into any University through JAMB.
The available degree options currently offered in the programme includes: Agriculture: Agric. Economics, Agric. Extension, Forestry and Wildlife, Crop Science, Animal Science, Fisheries; Science: Botany, Biochemistry, Zoology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Microbiology, Physics; Social Sciences: Geography and Regional Planning, Library and Information Science, Arts: French, Fine & Applied Arts, Urhobo, Music, and Education Courses in Mathematics, Physics; Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Technical Studies, Geography, French, Fine Art, Music, Home Economics, Library Science; Engineering; Pharmacy; Faculty of Health Sciences: Nursing, Medical Biochemistry, Anatomy, Pharmacology and Physiology.
The Curriculum in each of these courses is specially designed to prepare the students for a smooth entry into the 100 level programme in their respective degree options.

1. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

(a) Candidates should possess credits in five relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent at not more than two sittings. The subjects should include English Language. A credit in Mathematics is also compulsory for all science based courses.

(b) Specific Departmental admission requirements are as indicated in the UME brochure for Delta State University, Abraka.

2. ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Selection of candidates for the various courses shall be based on a General Aptitude Test. The Aptitude Test shall be conducted at the Delta State University, Abraka.

3. MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR WRITING THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Candidates are expected to come with the following materials, without which they would not be allowed into the examination venues.
a. The printed photo card
b. HB Pencil
c. Calculator

Answer: The forms was sold for N11,000 including bank charges.

Answer: The form is selling for N21,000 including bank charges.

  7. the estimated time from lagos to delta state i think it is 12hours journey, the last time i visited lagos.
    as regard the school fee, email me let me forward it to your mail box, it is not for public viewing (it is found at the back of the predegree brouchure)

    i got your message on time, when the form is out,it take jst 2hours for me to buy and process it online. but it has to be in the morning period let say 9am-11:30am and excluding Friday & Monday bcos of crowd

    i know you cant rember me, u process my delsu post ume form last year. i ws able to gained admission.
    I was searching on google when i came across ur post on delsu predegree. my younger sista fil in delsu, but unable to secure admission. pls kep me posted when the form is out (pedegree).

    . i wnt u 2process it. pls take her as u candidate, i will mke efort 2com and collect the past question frm u, when i will come to warri you will recongnise me when u see me.
