ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
1. PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING (PHN)
DURATION: TWO(2) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to the award of the Higher National Diploma in Public Health Nursing by the West African health Examination Board (WAHEB)
QUALIFICATION :
Prospective candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) O/L Credit Passes in WAEC/GCE in not more than two (2)sittings which must include:
a. English Language
b. Mathematics
c. Biology/Health Science
d. And any other of the following :
Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Literature, Accounts and Physics Candidate are also expected to posses any of the following in addition to the above
♦ Nigeria Registered Nurse Certificate
♦ Nigeria Registered Midwife Certificate
♦ For male in addition to be a registered nurses any other post basic qualification.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (EHT HND 1)
Duration: two (2) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The program leads to the award of Higher National Diploma (HND) in environmental Health technology of the West African Health Examination Board (WAHEB) QUALIFICATION:
Prospective candidates must possess:
1. National diploma in environmental health technology.
2. Note that candidate with awaiting result can apply but admission will not be offered Only on clear standing.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (EHT)
DURATION: FOUR (4) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to the above award of national Diploma (ND) in environmental health technology of the West African Health Examination Board (WAHEB)
QUALIFICATION:
Prospective candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) O/L Credit Passes in WASC, SSCE, NECO and GCE at not more than one sitting. The subject must include:
a. English Language
b. Biology/Health Science
c. Chemistry and two others from the followings: Geography, Economics, Food and Nutrition, Accounting, Commerce, Physics And Technical Drawing and a pass in mathematics is compulsory
Candidates who have acquire the WAHEB National Diploma in EVT from recognized institution are eligible to apply for direct entry into the ND II programme.
4. ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (EVT)
DURATION: THREE (3) ACADEMIC SESSION
The programme leads to the award of certificate in the Environmental Health Technician Of The West African Health Examination Board (WAHEB)
QUALIFICATION
Prospective candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) passes at not more than two (2) (sittings) in WAEC, SSCE, NECO GCE and TCII O/L. this must include three (3) Credit Passes in:
a. English language
b. Biology
c. Chemistry
d. Health Science
e. Physics
f. Geography, Agric Science and Technical Drawing Nutrition, Accounts, Mathematics will be an added advantage.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT (EHA)
DURATION: TWO (2) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to award of certificate in environment health assistance of
the west African health examination board (WAHEB)
QUALIFICATION
Prospective candidate must possess a minimum of four (4) passes at not more than two (2) sittings in WASC, SSCE, NECO, GCE and TCII or NABTCE O/L in one Science subject:
a. Biology
b. Chemistry
c. Health Science
d. Nutrition
e. Physics
f. General Science or Integrated Science any other three (3) subjects, a pass in English will be an added advantage.
6. COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS (CHEW)
DURATION: THREE(3) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to award of the diploma in community Health Extension by
the community health registration Board of Nigeria.
QUALIFICATION:
PROSPECTIVE CADIDATE MUST POSSES A MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) CREDIT PASSES In WAEC, WAEC, SSCE, NECO and GCE O/L in not more than two sittings.
1. A licensed JCHEW certificate holders with basic academic qualification i.eit Credit pass in”

7. JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS (JCHEW)
DURATION: TWO (2) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to award of certificate in junior community health extension Workers by the community health registration board of Nigeria.
QUALIFICATION
Prospective candidate must have posses a minimum of five (5) O/L PASSES in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, and GCE in not more than two sittings which must include.
a. English Language
b. Mathematics
c. Biology/Health science and any two (2)subjects
8. MEDICAL LABORATORY ASSISTANT (MLA)
DURATION: TWO (2) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programmes leads to award of medical laboratory Assistant certificate by the
Medical laboratory Council of Nigeria.
QUALIFICATION
Prospective candidate muse posses a minimum of three(3) credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, and GCE in not more than two sitting which must include:

b. Biology/Health Science
c. Chemistry
9. MEDICAL LABOURATORY TECHNICIAN (MLT)
DURATION: THREE (3) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The certificate leads to award of medical laboratory technicians diploma by the
Medical laboratory council of Nigeria.
QUALIFICATION
Prospective candidate must possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes in WASC, SSCE, NECO, GCE in not more than two settings which must include:
a. Biology
b. Chemistry
c. English language
d. Mathematics and any other subject.
NB: Result should not be more than five (5) years at the point of admission.
10. DENTAL SURGERY TECHNICIANS (DST)
DURATION: THREE (3) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to the award of Diploma in dental surgery technicians.
QUALIFICATION

11. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN (HIMT)
DURATION: THREE (3) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to the award of a technician certificate (TC) in Health Information Management by the health record officers registration board of Nigeria
QUALIFICATION
Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, GCE in not more than two sitting which must include:
a. Mathematics
b. English Language
c. Biology/Health Science and two others
12. PHARMACY TECHNICIANS STUDIES
DURATION: THREE (3) ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The programme leads to the award of national certificate for pharmacy technician (NC)
