POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

DURATION OF PROGRAMME
Each student admitted for Master’s or PhD Degree Programme must pursue a FULL – TIME course of study and research in the Academy. Depending on the Degree in View, the following conditions are also applicable.
A student for the Master’s Degree shall pursue the programme for 2 years (4 semesters).
Candidates for PhD Degree shall pursue the programme for 3 years (6 semesters).

At the expiration of the period of study for any given programme, a student who has not completed his/her programme shall be withdrawn from the Academy. However, in exceptional circumstances, application for extension to complete the programme may be entertained. Extension shall not exceed a period of one year (2 Semesters) in case of Master’s degree and 2 years (4 semesters) in case of Ph.D.

FULL TIME ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Master’s (MA and MSc) Degrees:-
A candidate seeking admission into the Master’s Degree programmes shall be a graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy or any other recognized university. Such candidates must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the relevant field of study.

Doctor Philosophy (Ph D) Degree:-
A candidate for PhD Degree must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) at Bachelor Degree and a Master’s Degree in the proposed field of study from a recognized university. In addition, the candidate must have scored an average of not less than 60% at the master level.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME
Each admitted student for Part-Time Masters Degree Programme must pursue weekend mode of study and research on Fridays and Saturdays for the period of the study. The following conditions are also applicable.

A student of Masters Degree shall pursue the Programme for 1 year (2 semesters) except MBA programme which runs for 2 years.
A student of Postgraduate Diploma shall pursue the programme for 1 year (2 semesters), except PGDEE programme which runs for 2 years.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree

Candidates applying for the Part-Time Masters Programmes must possess a Bachelor Degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division). Candidates with Third Class Degree or Higher National Diploma must also possess a Postgraduate Diploma in a related discipline from any recognised University to be eligible for admission. HND Candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit to apply.

PGD Programmes
Candidates applying for the Postgraduate Diploma programme must possess a Bachelor degree from the Nigerian Defence Academy or any other recognised university, or a Higher National Diploma.

ACCOMMODATION
FULL-TIME AND PART TIME:
Limited number of rooms are available in the Postgraduate School Hostel on First Come First Served basis

I am Paulinus from river state i took NDA form two times and after the exam my name never came out but glory be to God today that i finally got the admission last year with the help of Colonel David Ibrahim whom my father consulted on my behalf so in regards to this i want to advice that if you need some one to help you contact Colonel David Ibrahim he is a very Generous man and always love helping people every year to get into NDA i was told by my father that he only have space for 8 persons,you can as well call him on this number before its too late 08142748182 Note the reason why i said you should contact him is that i paid money to a man before and at the end nothing work out and just last year my father contacted this man Colonel David Ibrahim and today i am in the Nigeria defence Academy i believe he can help you too only if you can call him.

  2. Good morning. Please I will like to know how I can download the pgd form and apply. Is there any procedure attached to the filing of form as in payment. If there is, how much is it. Thanks for your consideration and understanding.
